Michelle Kwan didn’t reach the highest levels of figure skating by accident.

When Nadia Comaneci became the first gymnast ever to earn a perfect score of 10 in an Olympic event, is was not by luck.

And it had to be something in the water when Michael Phelps, enduring a broken wrist, decided to continue his training for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

We know how that worked out for him; bringing home an unprecedented eight gold medals.

Success did not happen by chance for these people.

They had to know in their hearts where they wanted to take their career and life; trusting that the best strategy would show up.

Either through their own wisdom, or that of someone else.
