time to liveWhat’s wrong with your current job?

What’s wrong with your employees?

What’s wrong with your life?

It may be the money, but not only the money. It may be the environment, but not only the environment. It’s work … but not YOUR life’s Work.

I believe that you’ll never be able to deliver your optimal value in the marketplace until you place your own sense of well-being, balance, and sense of meaning at the center of your life. Failure to do so will result in over-selling your time, underselling your value, and being paid for functions and processes far below your intrinsic value–all of which are paths toward burn-out and frustration. Your life will revolve eternally around your work, and that’s a death spiral.

So… what is Coaching?

Coaching is characterized by the belief that the client is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole; that they have the answers to the problems, that there is nothing to “fix”. It focuses on the present and the future. It is action oriented, seeks accountability of client, strives for solutions and a fulfilling life for the client. Client and coach are more like partners in the work that is done. Coaching addresses wounds of the past only when they show up in the present – Sally Krauss

Successful people around the country experience the following benefits from Joel’s coaching:

Clarification Direction

While the coaching process is often initiated by a career change, we want the career or business options explored to reflect the LIFE you want.

This process involves identifying your purpose, as well as overall success in the 7 different areas of life. Only after clarifying what “success” means to you can we then determine what work model and application is best.

We will look at those issues over which you do have control and those you do not.

We will eliminate feelings of being trapped or victimized.

There are too many choices readily available for each of us to assume that it makes little difference what we really want. As soon as you identify what the ideal would be, you put yourself back in the driver’s seat; the challenge then is simply how to get there. Recognizing your “areas of competence” and believing you are capable of change will open up immediate and multiple options.

Authentication

  • Know your skills and abilities
  • Understand your personality style
  • Embrace your uniqueness

Study indicates that people who focus on their Strengths everyday are 6 times more likely to be engaged in their jobs and 3 times more likely to report having an excellent quality of life. Throughout the coaching process, we will be zooming in on and honing these assets.

85% of the process of having the confidence of proper direction comes from looking inward first. With clarity there, we can move boldly to the best possible applications.

Specification Career game plan

Any occupation, no matter how worthy is sounds or socially acceptable others think it may be, cannot be called a “good job”, unless it is good for your spirit, your emotions, your relationships and your health. For anything to bring you true meaning and fulfillment, it must nurture you from the inside out.

This may include exploration of new methods of job searching, new techniques in presenting oneself, new work models, and innovative ways of generating income.

The best way to predict your future is to create it. – Stephen Covey

Activation Confidence to move forward and take action

When we blend Purpose and Calling with the other ingredients of your authentic self, together with a Clear Plan of action, true confidence will emerge. “Confidence is going after Moby Dick in a rowboat and taking the tartar sauce with you.” –Zig Ziglar
