Faithful to the tug that has been towing on her heart for quite some time, she recently gave formal notice that she is following the road in which it is pulling her toward.

And while the world of investment portfolios and real estate deals may excite some and allure others (she spent 17 years in these industries), this mom knew that for her own spiritual peace and personal growth, she had to fully surrender to who she was.

Founder of Purposeful Pathway, Caroline from Massachusetts joins us on the show and shares how her past hurts have ignited a desire in her to help others find healing, hope, and strength.

In her own words – here’s an email she sent before we recorded the show:

“There will be a transition period, of course, as I refer my clients to other agents; but it will be rewarding to approach a point where I can focus on what I love to do.

With two little ones to support, I had to spend much time in prayer and thought before making this decision.

But the answer became clear that I should step out in faith.

Scary? Yes. Exhilarating and necessary? Absolutely.

The risk of not plunging into my vocation is far greater than the risk of moving forward.”

The realization that she cannot, not, pursue her vocation, is an observation many have made, yet only a fraction are willing to commit to. Listen in and find out why she choose to throw her whole heart into the process.

I truly enjoyed our conversation, Joel!It was such a blessing to share with you – and with others – my life journey.

Thank you for taking the time to interview me and for asking excellent questions!God bless!Caroline

I have had the privilege of getting to know Caroline on a personal level, and truly see her heart to serve. Her journey has led her down many paths, that as she acknowledged were not good choices, but ultimately God had the final say. He knew one day those same choices would bring her to a place of healing in order to serve Him in a way that would use her gifts and passions to the fullest. She is a calming force when you talk to her.

Thank you so much, Cindy! I am truly blessed to know you. I look forward to continuing our conversations – and to growing our friendship! I am grateful for your encouraging comment. Thank you for sharing your love for life and for God so openly. God bless you!

      Cindy,

Thank you for sharing. it is amazing how God uses our past experiences, the good and the not-so-good to prepare us for the place He has already sees us in.

    • http://www.4PointsCoaching.com Joel Boggess

      Hi Cindy,

That is a powerful phrase, “a calming force”. Don’t be surprised if you see that in my material at some point.

  • Keiti Pierce

What a fantastic interview!  Caroline, you are incredible!  I can completely relate with the anxiety / depression as I’ve suffered from both for many years and you have my greatest respect for persevering in the face of adversity.  Just those two things alone can make it difficult to move on to greater aspirations.  One day I hope my sense of self will be as firmly ingrained as yours.  xxoo

    • http://www.4PointsCoaching.com Joel Boggess

      Hi Keiti,

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing. The story of Caroline’s journey is truly an inspiring one.

Just curious, what do you think would help you reach a higher level of self awareness?

      • Keiti Pierce

        Caroline’s story IS inspiring!

This is going to sound flippant, though I don’t mean it to be, but usually a good kick in the butt works wonders.  I’ve been staying with my parents since I got back from Scotland nearly two years ago in order to start trying to pay off some of my school debt and while they’re awesome people, I have this really bad habit of falling back into old habits when I’m here – not their fault by any stretch.  I need to get myself in a better financial position to move and that will help immensely.  Being out of work for the past couple of months has made it difficult to make any kind of headway, but it’s baby steps and that has to count for something.

        • http://www.4PointsCoaching.com Joel Boggess

          Hi Keiti,

Thank you for your courage in sharing. God has big plans for you.

    • http://twitter.com/caroline_gavin Caroline Gavin

Wow!! Thank you so much, Keiti!! I am touched by your words! My heart goes out to you, as I truly know the painful depths of both depression and anxiety. You have so much to offer to the world, Keiti, and I am grateful to have gotten to know you as a friend over the past few months. Thank you again for your comment – and for sharing about your own struggles. YOU are incredible too!

      • Keiti Pierce

Thank you, Caroline!  Thankfully, both the anxiety and depression cleared up (mostly) once I took care of a vitamin D deficiency and started taking care of a chronic health issue.  But that took a good 20 years to discover.  :-)   I still have my good days and bad days (mostly if I’m not getting enough sleep) – as usual, I’m heading into TMI territory, so… lol

I am grateful for having made friends with you over the past couple of months, too.    And can’t wait! to head up north to solidify it in person.  You are one of the most giving people I’ve ever met and I can certainly learn from that.  I’m trying to, anyway.  :-)

        • http://twitter.com/caroline_gavin Caroline Gavin

What a blessing, Keiti! Yes, Vitamin D is incredibly powerful. I’ve learned that the hard way myself!  I am truly grateful for our friendship, Keiti, and it will be SO nice to meet you in person! I was amazed when I read you were traveling this way soon. Thank you again for your kindness, your support, your encouragement!! :)

      Hi Keiti,

So glad you enjoyed the show.

Her message of hope is spreading. From a download perspective, the numbers seem to continue to click upward just about every time I check.

Thank you for helping us promote on your end.

    Dear Caroline,
As we have been sharing a special Christ-mind fellowship via emails this broadcast has tipped the scales in awe of the power of following our Higher Power.  I read in scripture today something that reflects this  in Romans 13:1,2 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers…..”
With a grateful heart in your fellowship and friendship as being like-minded,

Risa, was right about connecting us in more ways than one because we both write, and dedicate our passion to help others. I work in a Psychiatric Hospital, here in Houston, with an opportunity to reach more of our patients, and have at this point seen over three thousand patients take back their lives’ which has been amazing watching them through the transition. I have one Go Daddy webs-site that is up http://www.expressionsbyalbertinheartflames.com, which will give you some insight into who I am, and I am working on two of my business web-sites at this time. Your path has not been easy, but you will find out that it is all worth the price you are paying now. Albert Duran.

Thank you so much for listening to the pod cast, Albert, and for sharing your kind and encouraging comment!

God bless you richly in all things!!Caroline

       Hi Albert,

Thank for listening and for being a part of the discussion.

Let’s chat sometime. I’d be interested to learn more about what you’re doing and how you’re helping people take back control of their lives.
